Sorry it's not me - I'm 1112B. However, Iberdrola took 29 euros last month and we haven't been there. How much should one be paying? Anyone?

HI we are in N749 and the electric went on a few weeks ago I to was charged another charge just after the meter was on, also we have just returned and if the meter reading is form the last bill then we stand to pay another 50 Euros or so for the past month. We were only there three days. but the meter had moved 200 points frOm last meter reading until leaving.
We did notice though that they had not put the main switch in the box inside the aprtment so they came out and did that whilst we werwe there, I do not know if that makes any difference.

Hi Tim,
If you haven't switched off your water heater this is what is eating the electric sorry to say, we also fell foul to a bill from Iberola and we hadn't been there either. We've now switched ours off at the wall.
Hope you can get someone to go in and and switch yours off.

Hi, we too always switch mains off by front door. I couldn't even find my meter, I think the Penthouse meters might be in one of the cupboards by the lift. Not sure.
I wonder if we have the right meter connected to the right apartment. Makes you think!?

Hi All
we where there last week as the only ones in Block 11,i was looking for the meter running of our appartment,there is a number above it written by Polaris and you can compare it on your Iberdrola bill also
The official number is at the bottom of the meter for example 094017293 and also on your bill
The meters are on the right last door before you step on the golf course
our meter was not running for the whole 10 days but the meter of another appartment from 1C was running.
So i am sure that our meter is the one from 1C but it is not sure that the mixed up 1C to 1F our more.
Polaris said we have controlled them and they are wright.

Hi,
We are next door to Patrick in block 11. When we were over in October we had problems with electricity. To cut a long story short Polaris had connected our meter to an unoccupied apartment and that meter to our apartment. Hence, although we'd paid the connection charge and the first standing charges we had no electricity until the problem was corrected. They of course denied it until we had Iberdrola out at our cost to prove to them their incompetence. So this may not be an uncommon error by Polaris.

The meters for the Penthouses are located in the last cupboard on the right next to the lifts. Just got back a few days ago and noticed that the cupboard on our block is locked.it was open a few weeks ago when i was last over so you could check your meter yourself. thought this was a bit dodgey mainly because there was all sorts of wires hanging in there which would could have possibly caused serious injury to anyone touching some of these wires. Maybe this is the reason that the door is now locked. Have no idea now how you can check your meter readings when the door is locked though.

Just to add to this thread, we are in 1102 and I have just had a bank statement telling me that I have paid Iberdrola 22.71 Euros at the end of October. This is the first payment since the meter connection charge of 158.20 in August. Our apartment is not occupied yet and has no electrical goods in it. Anyone know if that is just a standing charge or is this a case of meter mix-up?

Hi Eian & Irene here from P-1113, Planta 1c. We are just back after spending 11 days at our apartment. We have also paid the 158 euros for connection and also received a bill for 40 euros as a first bill. I think this was for a 2 month period. we had someone staying in our apartment for 4 days in Sept 2009, most of this cost is a standing charge. Our Keyholders are Cath & Kevin, who have advised us to turn the electricity off at the switch inside the front door. I know our meter is fitted as I have seen it, however the door to this room has now been locked and is unaccessable. I do hope that they have correctly fitted the meters as I dont want to be paying for someone elses electricity.
I was up on the roof space checking out where my space is for the air con units. As far as I could make out the electric wires for some of the air con sections have been mixed up. Hope i'm wrong, as this could certainly push your lecky bill up.

Hi all in Block 11 (And everybody who owns at CdA) - I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and new year. However, I have some unfortunate news for someone................. you are paying my electric bill.
if your IBERDROLA - No contrador is 0084300958 and I think you own 1???G (may be 1117) I'm pretty sure your getting my bills. My meter is 1B and was on "41" when we arrived and was also on "41" when we left. I met Patrick&Christel - Thank you for your help by the way, who believe the left half of the block are connected up to the right side of the block and visa-versa. When we checked this out, your meter was indeed working and mine wasn't. Your meter reading will be over 260+ as I checked this at 1700hrs Wednesday and left for home Thursday.
May be you could PM me and let me know when you are out next, or I could just email my findings direct to Iberdrola and try to sort asap.

Its your next door neigbour here, Eian & Irene Gordon at P1113, Planta 1c. Hope your Christmas and festive season are going well and look forward to meeting with you both some time this year.
We have been in consultation with Patrick & Christel, it appears that that are getting our bills, and we are getting theirs. We have spoken on the phone, and discussed what to do. I have also had our key holders check our apartment with the appliances on and our meter does not move, however Patrick's does. I have contacted customer services to see if they can get this rectified, and I also understand that Patrick & Christel have been in contact with Iberdfrola to get this sorted. Hopefully we will get a happy resolution to this problem.

Hi all,
Hope you had a good Christmas and a happy new year. Just to let you know that we had problems when over in October and eventually determined we had been connected to our neighbours electricity in block 11. Iberdrola came out but said it was an issue for PW to resolve and they did eventually come around and switch the connections. It sounds like it may be a common fault. We are in 1115 next door to Patrick and Christel - our meter had been swoitched with 1114 which I believe is unoccupied. Please don't switch us back !!!! Hope you get it resolved soon and hope to meet up with you all at some point.

Thanks Eian & Irene and Kev1 - I'm pretty sure of 1G as while checking meter there was only 3 apartments ocupied. Patrick&Christel knew theirs etc so although I'm guessing it's 1G hopefully a good guess. Does anyone know the owners and if so could you get them to contact me.
Thanks again and hope to meet you all soon, we are out 30th April for 10 days and 7th July for 11 days. Will be out again Sept/Oct & New year but haven't booked yet.

Hi there neigbours. I am in block 11 and in penthouse 32 so not affected by your meter problem. However, it is also worth checking how your air con units havebeen installed as at least one unit on the roof appears to be connected to two power supplies which would distort your electricity bills quite a bit if it is one of yours.
Could you tell me how to find my meter and do I need a key or anything.
