Nearest supermarket?

Besides the PW one of course, which I guess is expensive?

Could anyone advise the location of the nearest decent supermarket?

Hi Adrian

Condado supermarket is reasonably priced and well stocked I use it all the time.  You have also got Consum which is on Camposol, 5 to 10 mins away, Lidl in Peurto Mazarron as well as other small supermarkets in the Peurto like Mercadona and Upper so plenty to choose from

The prices at the supermarket are actually quite competative and they have all the essentials, but the nearest supermarket have has a wider range is at camposol b, 5km down the road.

Don't forget Aldi's in Alhama de Murcia.

 Mercadona in Alhama as well.

Eroski and Alcampo are both in Murcia near ikea if you fancy travelling a wee bit further.

I suggest Mercadona in Alhama, It has the best options, and one of the best fish places i have been to 2 large sea bass cleaned and gutted 4 euro, a large fillet salmon 5 euros, It is also very well priced for everything else. But we go there becuase we live here but if you on holiday the Polaris Supermarket is ideal.

The only reason most people find PW supermarket expensive if im correct is they like to buy the english imported things and yes it can be expensive.

There is a MAKRO in Murcia which is good if you want a 'big shop'.  Just show your UK membership card and they will give you a day pass.  Good for electrical and household purchases if you are just setting up on completion.
