Buying electrical goods

Hi

We're over  on the 11th April to set up and furnish our apartment for the first time. We're really excited as you can imagine!

One of the first things we're going to have to buy is a fridge freezer.

I'm thinking Carrefour but just in case I can't collect on the day does anyone have the directions to a  local electrical reseller that I could use as a back up?

Congratulations and welcome to Condado I think you will be like the rest of us and love it !!  I don't know which Carrefour you are thinking of going to but if you go ot the one at Cartegena on the Mediterranio retail park, on the same retail park just near Carrefour is Media Markt which have a huge selection of Electrical goods but don't bother going on the 11th as they are not open on Sundays!!!  There are others nearer to Condado like Genes Navarro which is on the main road going out of Mazarron towards Peurto Mazarron, they sometime have offers on various electrical items, there is a small electrical shop just a bit further on in Peurto Mazarron directly opposite Lidl it is an english guy but prices vary there.  Have you thought about buying from Polaris Homestyle as they do white goods and it can be ordered and paid for via e-mail and they will just deliver and set it up for you.  It is a little bit dearer but you must always ask for discount and there is no hassle.  This is the lady we dealt with via e-mail at Homestyle and she sorted out our discount also,  soraya.bocos@polarisworld.com We are back out on the 11th also we have just purchased in Block 10 Penthouses still some furnishing to do in ours but getting there...    Enjoy !!

Hi Adrian - i was recommended Electro Regalos on the forum - i bought, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave - They are in Roldan next to La torre resort- good prices, lots of selction and they deliver and install for free.I also bought electricals from media markt- they are also good -

ROADSTER HERE   I BOUGHT MY ELECRICAL GOODS ON LINE AND GOT THEM SENT TO ALLANS ADDRESS IN THE UK THEN HE BROUGHT THEM OVER TO CONDADO 1 FRIDGE FREZER 1 DISHWASHER 1WASHING MACHINE ALL SILVER  + 1 GAS BQ LARGE  ALL BOUGHT ONLINE  FOR £750 PLUS £250 TO DEL TO CONDADO.  

  ALAN GOES TO CONDADO ALL THE TIME EVERY THREE TO FOUR WEEKS . I HAVE USED HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES.

WELL RECOMMENDED.  GIVE HIM A CALL  YOU WILL FIND HIS DETAILS ON EYE ON SPAIN WEBSITE FORUM FOR CONDADO AS HE IS A POPULAR GUY.

Hi Adrian,

Like Jackie, I'd recommend Homestyle, we bought the "white good pack" from them, Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer and microware round £1000 delivered and installed.  ( god it goes against the grain recommending Polaris world, but there it is )
