Hi
I was over at CDA during Easter and noticed that a number of three bed apartment owners in the Jardines had installed white plastic pipes to carry the overflow water from the apartment above away form their patio and onto the garden. What a good idea!
Can someone please advise where to buy the pipework and components from locally, I did try the DIY store a Camposol but they don't have it.
Many Thanks
Adrian

Mas Tejera does guttering.
Down to the end of the RM3 (mazarron end), left at the roundabout and left again at the next roundabout you will see Mas Tejera on your left. Mostly building materials. Guttering is out the back in the cement warehouse. Not sure on prices though.

Most of the pipes you will see are actually 11/2"waste pipe brought over from the UK. I tried to buy it locally but without success so brought mine over in 2mt lengths on the plane.

Hi is it me - I can't see why anyone would need these ugly RWP's. They would possibly be used in very heavy prolonged rain storms - but then I for one wouldn't be out on the terrace then anyway. Just a thought.

How about...................
No ugly stain down the middle of the wall any more
No chance of detergent laden water getting swilled on your patio furniture if upstairs wash their patio's.
White against white does not really stand out. As you can probably gather - done ours, much to the relief of our upstairs neighbours.
Regards,

Hi Daniels
The reason for having the RWP's in not only for the prolonged rain but also if the people above want to wash down their terrace and it protects the awning on the terrace below if they have one, not to mention the electric socket on the lower terrace, and the stain!

Hi
Must agree, we are in upstairs appartment and it was always a nightmare when cleaning our terrace as the water ran down below staining their wall. I even tried to clean their wall afterwards. Much better now they have the drainage.

I have 5 sets of pipe that we brought over from UK. It is white and brown (brown runs along side of wood). You can see it on jardines apartment 689.
If anyone is interested in buying a set off me (my father in law would fit it for you if needed), please PM me.
Thanks
Dave

Does anyone know if putting up pipes / trellis etc is classed as building alterations that would fall foul of the town hall?
We're thinking of doing both, but do we need permission first?
