Mazarrón to have access to the Corvera Airport by the RM-3
The town of Mazarrón will have access into the Corvera Airport by the RM-3 road. The Regional Minister of Public Works informed about the situation of the works in the airport where the traffic from the south-western of the Region has been already channelled.
Ballesta stated that the works will be finished this year and he added that the references to the new western access have been already completed «with an investment of seven million euros and which will absorb until 15,000 vehicles a day».
The Regional Minister explained that the western axe has been completed collecting the traffic from the autonomic roads RM-2 (Alhama de Murcia-Campo de Cartagena), RM-3 (Totana-Mazarrón) and RM-23, linking the other two, and also the A-7 and AP-7, channelling the traffic coming from the south-western of the Region.
Regarding the works of the airport, the Regional Minster said that the structure of the passengers terminal is completed as well as the perimetral road, the service road of the southern area, the fences of the northern area and the security of the southern area.
