I am wondering where you can get dark wooden blinds for my pergola to provide extra shade.Does anyone know where you can get these and how much they cost approx?Otherwize has anyone any other suggestions for covering in my pergola?I'd also like to add extra lighting in this area.Has anyone got any suggestions what's the best way to go about this or where to buy?I'd like something contemporary.

Thanks.

You can get the rolls of dark coloured cane in Leroy Merlin in the big Nueva Condomina shopping centre outside Murcia.  They sell just about everything DIY-wise.

regarding extra lighting, ours too doesn't give out much light so as we have electric sockets outside we're putting our standard lamp outside when we eat of an evening.

Kind regards

karen

If you'd seen Jane's cooking then you'd know why I suggested such a poor lighting solution. (Just kidding !)

Don't fancy having to arrange mealtimes around the arrival of Easyjet flights though and Ryanair will want to charge for use of borrowed light from their planes!
