Just spoken to Teleast & they have told us the TV package we have (120 channels) will be off till Friday!!! The "FREE" channels we used to receive through the ariel socket are no longer working, are they still available? If so how do you receive them?
I have connected an old free-to-air digital box from the UK, but can only pick up one spanish TV station & 2 spanish radio stations, all of which are poor reception.
Any suggestions welcome.
Mike

Hello,
nothing to worry about but there is a new satellite dish being installed and your signal sadly will be gone for 2 days.

Hello Jack,
We don't have a TV package on Roda, just the free channels that mikelord referred to. Our daughter is there at the moment & she tells us that they are not available at present, so will they work when the new satelite dish is installed? If not, any idea how we get them back - we're on phase 1? Many thanks Nannajen

Hi Nannajen,
All properties on Roda have a TV signal supplied to them via Teleast, who can be contacted on 0034 902006270.
There is also the option of having a further digi-box supplied by them for an extra monthly cost, which gives around 100 TV and radio channels.
It may be that you TV is looking at the wrong "input" at the moment and it is simply a matter of changing a setting. If she wants to give me a call (details below) I don't mind having a quick look for her.
Best regards,
Paul

We've had no "free" channels in our apartment since at least 4th August and I was told that it would be back today. Just phoned Enjoy Telecom / Teleast and they say it should now be back but people may just have to retune their TV. Teleast can also be contacted on +34 968 956369 which maybe a cheaper option to call than the 902 number.
For people on Phase 2 you may or may not be aware that Teleast no longer supply the digital signal for the Spanish channels to our apartments. The supplier has been changed to Telecofricar on +34 968 162110. How this affects the digibox service for UK channels heaven alone knows!

It should be automatic tuning on your TV surely. I didn't think there was an actual "code" (well not been aware of one anyway).
Also, I understood from the last Entidad meeting that anyone who has not paid their Entidad fees would have sanctions against then (and I am not suggesting in the least that you have not paid your fees) and one of those sanctions is that TV service would be discontinued :( I can't remember when those sanctions kick in as we are waiting for the minutes to arrive at the moment.
Perhaps checking with Resortalia to see what the situation is or get them to get the engineer out to your place might be an option.
Hope this helps
