There are a lot of comments on the Long Term Rentals thread re property management so I've set up a new thread so that owners who are not interested in long term rentals & may not read the thread will not miss any information.
Several months ago we got a phone call from Paul Baxter asking if we were out in Spain. I was a bit surprised and said no that we were home in Ireland. Imagine our shock when Paul said that our front door was wide open! Luckily for us Paul was working in an apartment next door & noticed the open door. The property check was done on the Friday & Paul phoned on the Sunday so our door was open for 2 days. Luckily nothing was taken from the apartment but I dread to think what may have happened if Paul hadn't been next door as we do not rent out the apartment & it would have been left open for at least a month. At the time I decided not to post a comment on eos as I thought this person had learned their lesson & it was unlikely this would happen again. However, in view of all the other comments it looks like we are all dealing with the same company & this carlessness is ongoing.
The good news is that Paul Baxter has confirmed that he has set up a Property Management Company. The Company is called Com Pro Sol (Complete Property Solutions) www.comprosol.es & the email address is info@comprosol.es We originally bought our apartment through Paul & he has been fantastic every step of the way. From completion of the apartment to doing any jobs we required nothing was ever a problem. He can turn his hand to anything & we have total confidence that he will deliver on any promises he makes. I'm sure that any of you who know Paul will agree he is fantastic.
