Furniture packs for phase 2 are complete now and Roda has now also launched their extras package on a separate website.

Another extra that might be worth considering is the Roda Plus Package, found under Security Extras on the site. It is a system that allows you to control things like air-conditioning, opening and closing of shutters, lights, etc from your mobile phone from anywhere in the world. The total cost including installation is €1,500 + IVA.

We have just returned from Roda and ordered most of our furniture from Living in Spain, a large store on the main road to Murcia.  They have packages of varying prices but are very flexible.  We have bedroom furniture from one range and lounge furniture from another.  We didn't want their pictures or curtains so they took them out and made a reduction.  They will spend lots of time with you and are very pleasant.

The good lady wife and I are awating our apartment on Phase 3.  We were wondering has anyone used the Roda furniture package and are also letting Roda manage their property.

If so, how are they finding them.  Are they managing to get people renting or are they drawing a blank.

Hi has anyone got a good recommendation for bath and shower screens had one quote from ilucom but quite expensive. what options have people used on the shower down stairs in the barranda town houses phase II.

We used a company called InsideRightEspana,    www.insiderightespana.com they are based near Balsicas but have showrooms in the Uk for viewing. They offer packages but are also flexible and can provide individual items, we are still awaiting shower screen for phase 2 apt as they are an abnormal size and apparently many on Roda are different. Beware because our tiling in the shower is abysmal, waiting to have it fixed.

It is best to check out prices as they do vary quite a lot and some local shops have much better furniture deals and packages are not always best but you will need to get in the basics.

Roda prices for bath and shower screen and lights were very high but then they know you have to have them but rest of their stuff was reasonably competitive.

You can get quality beds just down the road at Muebles Mar Menor and ours were delivered within an hour of paying, lots of other furnuture as well.

Re rentals, you know that if you rent through Roda you have to commit to 10 months for their use and no guarantee of rental as I have said previously on here, there are lots of properties for rent and prices are very keen at present, things will get better as development nears completion.

Hi Hevs here wonder if anyone can help. we have had duvet supplied by our furniture guy but i am having trouble getting duvet covers to fit the sizes are 200cm x 220 and 150cm x 220cm uk size wont fit is this a normal size in spain or have i managed to get some odd size!! i know the carrafore sell covers but not sure what size any help appreciated.
