FANTASTIC !
Tried this French restaurant on the new marina last night.... wonderful !!! The presentation of the food, the flavours, the setting... just GREAT. The best food I have had in the area in a VERY long time. This is not a pile it high, keep it cheap menu del dia place, but if you want to treat yourself to something special, then give it a go.
Meal for 4 with two bottles of wine (12€ each), 1 beer, 4, starters, 4 mains, 3 deserts & 1 coffee, came to 105€
Try the goats cheese starter & the duck with cognac suace for main !!!
I´ll be back !!!

We have dined there too recently and were very impressed with the choice, quality & service. Had a nice table by the beach although it was a bit dark, even with the candles !

Has anyone been to Zalabi restaurant in the old marina at Mazarron ? It is part of the Regatas club but is open to everyone. We fancy a visit next time but couldnt see any menus outside so not sure on prices etc

Can also highly recommend La Bretanita, have eaten there 4 times since it has opened and have never been dispointed - try their crepes - they are to die for. Another great place to eat is Antipodas at La Azhoia - 4 course Menu del dia for €10 is great value - fab setting as well. For a great place to have drinks before dinner try El Faro overlooking the harbour. To access this look for signs for the bar near the 3 Chinese restaurants on the main road going through the port.

An absolute gem. The food in this restaurant would not disgrace the finest restaurants in the worlds capitals.
I think it is owned by two French ladies, one being the chef and they are very nice people.
I have dined in thousands of eateries all over the world and the La Britanita is amongst the best.
The chef has an incredible talent and I can't wait until I can visit again.
Gordan Ramsay take note, you need to check this out.

Right in the middle of the row of restaurants that are on the promenade/jetty in the marina at Puerto Mazarron. Tables outside on either side facing into marina or onto the main beach in the port. Can't miss it.

The Zalabi has a great location and it is not very expensive. I think it is closed at the moment until October.The food is good but not in the same league as La Bretanita.
