Thanks for all the updates Val
The pictures of the original pool area was the selling point for me, i could imagine myself sitting there having a drink by the pool and watching the grandchildren having a good time. The artists impression of the changes to the area dont impress me at all (but perhaps i am jumping the gun a little) What do you lot think? When were they planning on telling us about these changes and what other changes are in store?

We happen to agree with you.
Now we realise what the drawings are about, we feel the re-design is nowhere near as good as the previous image.
Al their literature has promoted the pool area in such a luxurious way, this looks like compromise and a millions miles from the original drawing. I guess you can say we are not impressed........if this is the proposal.

Hi all
I looked at the Piensa.com web site today and noticed theat they have changed the Air Conditioning specification to include the fitting of the actual units in the contract. It still mentions the fact that the central communal area will be of a spanish village theme.
Compromise?

Hi
Can you tell me where you found the information about the air conditioning units on the Peinsa website, I have just been looking at it and couldn't find it.

Their site doesn't work at all well in IE. If you have Firefox, try 'Quality List' in http://www.peinsa.com/eng/promocion1/index.htm .
Otherwise, here it is:
Building specifications
- Reinforced concrete structure.
- Air chamber below the house with iron net.
- Double external closing with hollow bricks, thermal insulation and cavity wall.
- Façade in villas in different colours still to be determined (apartments, bungalows and townhouses façade in maintenance free “Cotegran”).
- Sloping roof with curved tiles.
- Interior stairs in polished granite for townhouses, and gres in villas, with metal handrail.
- Top quality ceramic wall and floor tiling.
- Reinforced metal entrance door, with security lock.
- Interior carpentry in varnished pine with chrome coloured handles and iron fittings. Built-in wardrobes in bedrooms, fitted with interior suitcase shelf and drawers.
- Security back door.
- Exterior carpentry in thermo-lacquered aluminium and aluminium roller blinds.
- Double glazing in windows.
- Grilles on ground floor windows.
- REBT wiring, white switches and power points.
- TV and FM aerial. TV and telephone connections in living-room and bedrooms.
- A/C in living room and bedrooms (units included).
- Bathroom/toilet fittings in white porcelain with chromed mixer taps, Roca or similar.
- Hot water by combination of solar cell and heater.
- Decorative plaster on walls and ceilings.
- Vanity unit in bathroom and toilet.
- Fully-fitted kitchen with granite worktop (no white goods).
N.B.: the developer reserves his right to change any element if required by the technical office, or enforced by the Administration, as well as to use any new materials as long as it does not affect the qualities or the built surface of the property.

Until Peinsa confirm otherwise, we cannot actually assume that existing buyers are getting aircon units included - our contracts state otherwise, and, legally, that is what counts. Of course they are likely to make the concession otherwise we will all get very upset!

Good news, then, Carol...now I just wonder if they'll be cheapo units or something better. I mean, not being ungrateful, but the more expensive ones have useful features like remote control, timers, and are quieter. We'll wait and see...
