Water from another appartment connected new to our Watermeter? ? ?

when we where in our appartment in jardin 8 last september we had no problem with our waterconnection, but as our keyholder checked appartment few weeks ago he noticed we have no water anymore. urbaser didn't change anything and every bill is paid. an inspector was called and he found out that our meter was conected to the waterpipe of the appartment below us and our pipe is conected to theyrs. how on earth is that possible as we never had problems with water before?????who is changing connections just like this???anybody else out there with this problem?

Yesterday we got an email from Ml that says checks are going to be made from Monday by Urbaser and ML on all properties to check water supply and meters. Its a generic message so not just for us. The message also says that we should all contact our keyholders to advise them and also make sure ML knows who our keyholders are.

I will start a new thread about this too because I'm not sure how reliable it is for ML to rely on sending an email from their site as many people wont be registered, although they may have also emailed everyone else on email addresses on their records.

I'd just suggest anyone who hasnt been contacted get in touch with ML to confirm.

The problem lies with how Polaris marked pipes. so if your pipe has wrong apartment number on , water engineer will connect to one marked, even though we have prooved it is incorrect . Polaris have to change number on pipe before engineer will correct.

First you have to get into water cupboard and there are officials about checking if you are authorised to do so, so suggestion about doing it yourself could end up in trouble
