Trips around the Bay

Just got back from Puerto de Mazarron having seen people setting up in the Marina for a glass-bottomed boat to do trips around the bay and also along the coast in both directions.

They said the first trips were due to start next Tuesday at 11:00 am

Thanks for that info. We booked with Tony at CostaCalida fishing (he does leisure trips too) but he has sold his boat now so we were at a bit of a loss re boat trips. Cheers!

Well, we went on the inaugural 2011 trip at 11:00 am on Tuesday

Couldn't fault it - apart from getting soaked because we were sitting at the front - pointy end - bows - call it what you like - when we left Mazarron marina and the boat picked up a bit of speed.

We quickly retreated to the blunt end and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the trip along the coast towards Cabo de Palos (and back).

They've got a little bar on board for beer and soft drinks, snacks etc, and we got a commentary in English and Spanish describing the areas of interest along the way

We're going back next week for the trip in the opposite direction towards Bolnuevo

Where exactly is the boat in the Marina and can you just turn up on the day and go for it?

You can't miss it - it's moored next to the promenade - just come out of the underground car park and there it is

I don't think you can book - just turn up on the day.

Trips are at 11:00, 17:15 and 18:30
