Had some news from an independent lawyer on the situation on Huma. My lawyer (local) thinks there is a good chance of the license being issued before the May elections. Also the bank guarantee is valid. my property is due to be completed in June and as the contract stipulates a 6 month leeway either way they would have to complete by December. Obviously whatever happens this cannot be built in time. After this six months is up i can apply to have my depost returned in full plus interest, The only problem here is if they do happen to get the license they can start asking for further payments as per their contract and if i dont pay they can say i have broken the contract and keep my deposit. I only paid 25 %. They are not asking for any more payments until the paperwork is sorted out. I would obviously get all my money back but feel reluctant to part with anymore money after this fiasco. The only thing i keep wondering is if they do get the planning and want to still build at the same price in which they would have to, we will all have some very cheap property. I have looked at alternative developments and this was a good price two years ago and is an abcolute bargain now. i am just unsure about parting with more money. Anyway hope thats a bit on news for some of you out there.
