According to this and other reports, Jet 2 are planning flights into Corvera from Nov 2012, that is if all red tape is completed.

It is something of a surprise that Ryanair have still not released flights in to Murcia from Stansted, their major Southern hub as from April next year, but given the fact they seem to be taking on a number of Spanish Airport authorities over various issues and the Corvera opening is still a flexible feast it is perhaps not altogether surprising.
Interesting to note this week that despite the recession and rising fuel costs Ryanair continue to report a rise in operating profits, quite possibly the ony airline to do so. Love him or hate him, O Leary continues to provide cheap flights and turn a profit.
