Any news on the club house yet?

Don't know about Darren, but this one passed me by.  Mirador apartments? Weren't these supposed to have been built north west of Penthouse Block 1, but never got off the ground? Any clubhouse, not a hut though, is welcome, but is Mirador the right place? I assume we are talking Golf clubhouse.

 I'm confused - Mirador apartments?  I thought it was going where the 18th is ?

Sounds like rubbish to me. There was no change when I was out there last week. Anyway, Mirador, I don't remember that name being associated with CDA and I think it was on another complex altogether!  JF

If you check out the old masterplan, you'll see that El Mirador was the most northerly of the several developments making up the resort - located near the main entrance roundabout. It's nowhere near the originally proposed golf club.

I suspect nothing has actually been done with regard to the Clubhouse/Hut/Caravan.

Yes, El Mirador was supposed to be on the higher ground beyond the end of the penthouses. They were to be Jardines style apartments and the Agora shopping area was to have been situated there. In 2009 they and the Golf suites and the further penthouses that should have been infront of the present Jardines were all cancelled. There was quite a fuss about it at the time on all of the forums, but many people who had reserved those apartments bought exisiting Jardines or Naranjos apartments or even Isla apartments.  Or they moved to other PW resorts.

As for the club house I'm hoping that the building they plan to move is the original sales office- albeit that it needs refurbishment, but it does have a balcony and at least had large windows. but, whatever they put there must be better than nothing. I believe CDA has lost out on tournaments due to the lack of facilities. Hopefully they'll landscape as well. Maybe it's just the usual sort of delay experienced in Spain thats holding things up. I'm sure I've read on here that footings have been dug out, afterall there'd be a lot of work to be done before any building could be moved, water, electric and sewer drains- so maybe someone visiting or reisdent could have a look. Based on the size of those we may be able to guess which building is being referred to.

 There has been no movement on this no ground works at the Practice hole1 and hole 18 are's, No drainage dug or electric supplied.

In order to move the portacabins will require a concrete base with Sewerage and Electric also the Buggy shed needs electric.

As I say nothing has happenned yet, I am told that it will.

How disappointing- it was posted by Anthony100 that footing have been dug. Probably just the exisiting remains of previous work then.

However, nowt we can do but wait and at this time of year things likely to run even slower but on the Clubhouse thread on the other forum Jill seems confident this will happen and she often seem to have her finger on the pulse.

Looking forward to developments in 2012 with a potential clubhouse and units available in Al Kasar and also the announcement of the purchase of the land for Paramount Park. Gotta be some positives in this news for CDA. Roll on 2012!!
