Dont think Jeb has anything to smile about, he has leaking pipes, an untrainned pup and a house full of dog mess.
However who doesn't find puppies cute!......aaahhh!
Come on Jeb, train up your puppy so its like mine!

On the markets I did enjoy them and thought they were a move forward as they got people together which is what CDA sorely misses.
In saying that I always enjoy a trip to the Alhama market. I find it a nice size from some of the other bigger ones. Does anyone know how that bus service turned out from Al Kazar to the market? Is it going to happen again?

Westhoughton! That would explain why a certain stalwart of this forum has a contrary view to almost everyone else on the planet. I used to work in Westhoughton and people from there have the uncanny ability to argue that black is really white or blue is really red. Not because they are, but justbecause they can. Something to do with the closeness of the genetic engineering of the area so I am told. JF

Too much inbreeding in Westhoughton! Typing this from my sun bed in Tenerife where is 25 degrees now, asthee got another sangria (hey Anthony)why didn't I buy here were its always hot and there is lots to do nearby????? That should re-ignite the debate!! Off u go people!

Darren i would stay in Tenerife as long as you can pal, full of snow in Horwich today, just had a walk up the Blundell Arms at least with the Blundell you know it will be open when they say they are going to be open, unlike some of these so called 5 star resort bars & restaurants that open or shut at the drop of a hat. ENJOY

The Blundell Arms-ahh memories!
As to my ancestory it is true to say that there's a certain closeness in some strands of the family, but thats only because a cousin was brought up thinking his Mum was actually his sister! Other wise no genetic interlocking.
As far as 5* goes I see Phil has posted elsewhere that the clubhouse will be the old site office once paper work is sorted and that only the Clover is to have new owners. Other Al Kasar units haven't got anything confirmed. Apparently the markets etc brought in much interest so ML are keen to continue that for the summer (let there be better stalls!!). Plus we are so secure visitors have problems getting in- I don't think thats a bad thiing. Dont want to be a misery but with such an economic downtourn I dont want CdA to be easy pickings.
