Hi,

I have recently bought a unit at Duquesa Village. We are interested in opening up the lounge/kitchen by knocking down part of the internal wall to half height and building a breakfast counter.

Please can anybody let me know if there are community rules about this type of development and who we need to get permission from?

Also if anybody could confirm that the walls are not load bearing/supporting walls (I am told they are definitely not) and  what they are constructed of (i.e. concrete, plaster, stud etc).

Help much appreciated.
