hi , can anyone please tell me the best and cheapest  company to get internet into the apartment , many thanks mejazi10

I dont know if it's the cheapest but most people use A2Z. They are people we use and we get 2M download most of the time. The total cost for the year is about 66 Euros which is excellent value but you will have to buy their Modem. You can either get their wifi version(150 euros ish) or just the normal modem and then ask Phil Tann on this forum to help you out with a wifi router.

Not posting this comment intending to be negative- but- I understand that the deal with A2Z is being renegotiated as its been in existence for about 12 months. At that point info is vague and as a result I'm not sure whether going with A2Z is recommended although they were , by far, the cheapest deal ever. 

We need some comment somewhere from a President regarding this but I've seen nowt from them.

I have renegotiated the deal for a further 6 months, having a meeting with A2Z tomorrow to sort out details once done we will be having a big publicity drive and letting all the owners know the full details.

Is it not the norm for internet suppliers to contact there customers and offer there new deals at the time of re-newal. It is no wonder the Spanish economy is in the mess it is in when so called companies such as A2Z cant even be bothered to contact there existing customers to  offer re-newal packages. Im pretty sure this would not happen with other internet providers across Europe especially in places like the UK.

THanks Phil- though I have to say I didn't even realise this was a problem. I was sure we'd been told there wouldn't be an increase on ce the deal was struck ast year. Non doubt I misunderstood. and the lack of info anywhere has added to my belief. I would suggest if they put up prices we all go back to the dongles we were using- so A2Z are better off being moderate and keeping customers.

The new 6 month internet deal has just been announced - does anyone know if we have to renew our contracts, or will things automatically carry on for those people who signed up for the original 6 month contract?

 All those currently on the communty deal for internet should be contacted this month by Mileniun regarding payment.  All users paid either 6 months fees or up to June, so in July a futher payment should be taken to cover the internet fees up until the end of the year.

Yep, we have done a deal with A2Z for the next 6 months,  this will enable the community to offer the internet for €4.75 until December.  After that we will have to sign a new contract and a new price will be set then.  The price will depend on the number of owners that sign up for the system, not just express an interest but actually sign up and have it installed.  Last number we needed 500 users to sign up as we agreed that minimum with A2Z, we had a number that said they were interested but never reached that number of installed owners, so now we need the number of users to increase to keep the same price.  To keep the price at €4.75 after december will require 1200 users installed by december, if we don't get that number is may have to rise a couple of euros but we are hoping that we will be able to maintain the same price.

We will be having a big advertising push over the summer and A2Z have said they will do some special prices for Condado for installations etc, they have already dropped the price of modems.  

So, if you put you name down last year but still haven't had the installation done then, assuming you are still interested, please email A2Z ( info@a2ztelecomunicaciones.es ) and arrange an installation date either with your key holder or for when you are next here.

If you haven't put your name down but would like internet then please contact A2Z or Mileniun and let them know,  €4.75 is the lowest price in Spain for an Internet connection every where else is 5 times that at least, so sign up now.

Hi we are interested in getting internet installed asap is that just 2mb download just for emails & browsing? Is there upgrade packages available? We are out for a 4 weeks in the summer so would like to get internet installed have mailed ML asking for information but hoping that we can get some information from those who have already had it installed.
