Flyover?

Hi all.

I won't be a neighbour i'm afraid but I do have a strong interest.

We visited 2 years ago with Parador and were buying a 3 bedroomed terraced house  in the first stage. Number 6 I think it was. Next door to the show house.It was very close to the road.

Unfortunately on our return to the UK we had some personal problems which caused us to give backword immediately.

We lost our €3000 to them as we expected.

Since then  things have improved on the home fornt and we have been travelling over every couple of months to hunt for another house. We went for an old finca in the end and are about to have major works done to make it habitable.

The Torre houses were very pretty inside and out but I was shocked to see some reference to a flyover. Would that be very close to the house we would now own? It was due to be completed in July 2006 btw.

It seems we may have inadvertently had a lucky escape.

Shame about your purchase falling though at Torre.  The development is coming along nicely and we cant wait until its finished.  The flyover hopefully wont be to much of a concern as I think that there will be only people living in the village using it, its not a shortcut to anywhere if you know what I mean.  As for the flyover itself, go to the Torre thread and look @ the shared photos, you will see it better here.  Look at 18th March 69633 you can see it quite clearly

Good luck with your Finca, thats the one thing the wife would have loved to have done but the problems we have had over in Spain just buying this house I would not like to be in your shoes, because you seem to get told things on a need to know basis but half the time the people advising you dont think you need to know!!... ie Parador.

Oh I didn't see those before.

It's a big flyover but it looks as though it actually diverts the road away from the first houses a bit.

It is not easy doing it all yourself. That is certainly true but we have had our little adventures along the way and before too long, hopefully, we will have a 4 bedroomed house on a big plot for around 30,000 euros more than the original house was going to be.
