Can people who drive from phase 2, 3, 3B and 4 dumping their rubbish in the bins opposite block 24, by the roundabout, put it in a bin nearer their own place please!!!
Even if the bins are full lazy people are stopping their cars by the bins (even if they are full and rubbish is outside the bins) and dropping of their rubbish. I have even known the bins just before the roundabout to be only half full when our bins are overflowing.
You would think when people got out of their cars and saw the bins full, they would drive to the next, but no.
Please don’t be lazy, USE A BIN NEAR YOUR OWN PLACE!!!!
Cheers

Mike
A very good point and one raised by other owners recently. I think the major problem is that all communal bins are placed on the perimeter road but near those particular bins are a large number of townhouses who have no bins and drive straight out past that point.
Once again a problem of design of the resort but could I suggets you and other owners who notice this contact the Administrator and/or Entidad board, both of whom are responsible for rubbish collections, so they get the message from owners. Also may be worth contacting your Community President who may also make representation on your behalf.
If there are not sufficient bins in the right places, the Entidad needs to consider this.

As a resident on P4 where there are no recycling bins whatsoever (we only have bins for kitchen waste) I raised this issue with the Entidad President several months ago. Apparently the architects of Roda in their wisdom decided that not everyone needed easy access to recycling facilities. I was told that the Entidad can be fined if items for recycling are deposited in kitchen waste bins and therefore advised that we should take our recyclable waste to other areas of the resort where appropriate bins are available. This is what we were doing and continue to do on a regular basis. However I have seen renters (who are possibly not aware of the situation) piling all sorts of recyclable materials into, and around, our kitchen bins!
Having said this by way of explanation on behalf of P4 residents, Mike is absolutely right – there is no excuse for piling rubbish up beside already full bins. There are plenty of others around the resort.
I also agree with Hugh Man that this is a matter to which the Entidad should give some consideration.

Yet another Roda design faux pas to add to the growing list that owners and or Communities/Entidad end up having to pay for to correct because the developer has no interest or intention in putting right, build or design problems, such as damp or leaks..
Whilst regulars will of course attempt to recycle, you are quite correct most tenants and or renters cannot be bothered and it is a sad fact of life that many will dump rubbish at the nearest point even if bins are full.
Some local Town Councils, not San Javier, do empty bins on a daily basis.
Owners, though do have to make representation if this is a major problem.

With the latest resignation of the President of the Entidad Board, that must be at least 5 so far, plus 1 who never attends meetings, is there anyone left to discuss these and other issues?

The fact that Phase 4 have no recycling bins means that Phase 3 bins often get full so adds to the problems of Phase 1 and 2 bins.
