Justin, re PMs, still problems.......... help please.

We have just returned from a lovely few days in Spain, although the weather wasn't that good at first, it was back to normal by Friday.

Well I have to say we havn't been there since November and what a difference. Although I have been looking at everyone's photo's and knew what to expect it is sooooo much better when you actually get there and see it.  

We spoke to the girl at the site office and she advised that they properties are not being sold in "phazies" they are just continually building and selling, not as I understood in phaze 1,2,3 etc. She also confirmed hat over 55% of the buildings had been cleaned, and whilst we were there a lady came and collected another bundle of keys to start cleaning the next group. She did say that no furniture was in the houses for security reasons, but maybe we know differently having seen photo's with vans etc.

I spoke to my agent who had been in contact with Masa as he knew we were coming out and his contact told him the first properties would be released in no longer than 6 weeks, which now makes it 5!

It is all really positive and I am so glad we went. I honestly don't think that mine will be released with the first ones because lots of the others have been ready for a long time, however after waiting two and half years a few more weeks is nothing!!

I am looking forward to hearing from you lucky ones that get the first letters to go over and get your keys. You must let us know what happens and how it all goes etc.

Sounds really positive and yes I agree that when you see it for yourself, it is far more exciting than the pictures. I have seen the email you have sent us about photo's of our house and don't worry. The house was finished when we saw it in Feb and the roads are the important parts now. I was pleased that you say there is a thin layer of tar on our roads now as this is one of the very last things to do.

How did the electrics and water look, was it finished?

Hi Barry & Mandy,

Yes, we walked all the way along your road and it looked to me that the electrics were all done. I think this tar was down to stop the dust a little before they finish it, when we were there it was so windy and the dust from the other roads was blowing everywhere.

Probably the most important thing which I forgot to mention - but at the time of writing couldn't remember what it was!! was the water. The girl at the office also told us that

"they put the water through for the first time yesterday"!!!! which would have been Monday. I think I had so many things to do and remember I should have wrote it all down with the answers. I don't know whether this would have gone to your house or mine though - maybe that's why the paths are don't?  I have sent an e-mail today to Service de Cliente, hopefully the will tell me if that is still to do, if it's mentioned in the reply - or anything else of use to you, I'll let you know.

It all sounds good to me and I don't remember feeling this positive about it since I originally signed the contract. So yes, lets all hope 5 weeks is the max - you never know.

Many thanks for your update -- it is starting to get very exciting now . If you saw a big difference between Nov. and now , it should be quite a startling difference to us , as we havn't been out since last May.

From what you have said , it must be our road which has had a layer of tarmac laid and the electrics done . We have been waiting since Apr04 - did you get any info. as to which properties will be handed over first ??

Hi Sue and Ray,

Nice to meet you on site last week!

The only extra bit of information that we got before we left on Tuesday, was that the builder has extended the handover to May, rather than April/May. They will then release the first 30 properties and these are expected to be on M14 ans M15. But, who knows..?

Other than that, I nearly drove into one of the manholesin the road, where the cover was missing!

 We did manage to get into the Eagle showhouse  on M15and took some photos from the roof. Hopefully, I will work out how to add these to the site.

Hi all,

Well excitment seems to be stepping up as we come to the last hurdle.

Spoke to friends who live not to far away from SG. They have confirmed that as from 10 days ago all roads round are tarmaced but still no access from shop place. The road here not done. Our friends are going down that way next week and have promised to drive in and ring me with all latest info so ill pass on to yousins. My friends are very good at finding out things so i'll trust they will be there with my interest at heart especially since they are on a promise of a meal as soon as I get out there.

It was tonight I spoke to them so hopefully they will be very up-to-date as hey really are only 15 mins from SG.

Looking forward to getting there.

It was nice to meet you both also, it's really good to meet up with people when you have communicated in this way.

No we didn't get to the Eagle, as I needed to get the key back for the show house, but the pictures you took look good especially with the furniture. And yes I know the hole you mean, I had to swerve to miss it.

We look forward to seeing you there qgain soon. Lets hope they don't put the dates back anymore and May is the first handover.
