I know there is a thread covering the none info re the AGM

But I think we have shot ourselves in the foot

When Phil Tann was Level 1 he always notified us all via EOS with date. Name of those currently elected. Info on how we can vote by proxy & forms etc.

Unfortunately he did not toe the line as far as ML was concerned & used the opportunity to get rid of him while he was out of the country.

Some of you really slagged him off though many had the gall to admit that they had never met him. In the UK you are innocent until proven guilty. This did not happen

Now ML`s devious means are showing. The new Level 1 has not bothered to do as Phil did & from comments on the other thread, she did nowt whilst just a garden president so we can hardly expect her to do more this time..

I think this is the start of what could be a serious wakeup call for us all.

Hopefully we will learn from this & not be so gullible in the future

Jan, People dont realise how serious this is!!

There may not be much of a future if this is allowed to continue.

The purse/wallet is empty and they continue on same path because they lose nothing WE DO!!

Emailed ML this morning ad jusr received reply below:

"The agm is jardines is taking place on the 1^st of December. In the following days you will be receiving the call for the meeting including the agenda and also the proxy and voting form.

Regards ML"

I e-mailed them yesterday.  Nothing.

 The law states that only 6 days notice are required for the AGM, so the aganda ( which is still being worked on ) should be sent at the latest sometime next week for Naranjos and the week after for Jardines.

With regard to proxies this is under dsipute as ML are trying to chance the rules,  here is a extract from an email I sent them following a meeting of level 2 that was held on Oct 11th whilst I was in the UK ;-

ML will kill the resort with the help of Owner Apathy then move on to pastures new with OUR CASH in THEIR pockets!!

It is that simple people..

You all have very little time to avert a dictatorship takeover by your administration company... clearly they have no respect for the HPL which is the law of Spain in relation to the affairs of communities and entidads but more importantly and as I suspected  they have NO RESPECT for your rights as an owner, that is very very clear from the copy of minutes in a previous post.

They know full well that their only obstacle to taking total control are the large number of absent voters, if they can ostracise them by whatever means they can contrive they are home and dry.

We have been down this path in the hands of apathy and a committee that were weak and hoodwinked by a smart but very devious administrator just 3 years ago. It cost us very dear and took a long time to recover from.

Just hope people on site realise the seriousness of THEIR situation and do something about it!

I do not understand the first post on this thread other than it is another pop at Mileniun. Equally whilst I do accept Phil Tanns point  that proxy votes should be accepted on the day of the AGM(s) the fact that they should be verified is more than reasonable - manipulation and pursuit of personal agendas can work both ways in this equation - and the willingness of some residents and owners to sabotage their own resort through this site clearly shows that they are more than happy to do that.

I do not find it acceptable that a spin is put on what is happening regarding the AGM(s). I received an email that was posted via Mileniun by my current garden president regarding allocating my proxy vote. This was sent a moth ago. A PDF form was filled in and a further request was made for a copy of my current passport to verify my proxy vote to be used.

This was a process that involved 2 emails and took no more that 10 minutes of my time - I am comfortable that my vote is being made as I wish. Why is it a problem that a copy of a verification document is requested is to avoid abuse - isn't this reasonable? Surely anyone who is an existing president or a prospective one can take the same option to contact their garden residents. If they chose not to it says more about their attitude that Mileniun.

I remember when this was a constructive forum and not a vicious chat room where people chose to score points and direct questions that should be routed through official channels. I only hope that people who show an interest in CdA do not take the standard of vitriol regularly displayed here as a true representation of all owners on the resort.

I tried to get a blank form in person from ML 2 weeks ago but they said no even with NIE and passport unless I gave it to them after completing.

You can see where the mistrust lies from my perspective I presume?

I want to go to the meeting with it in my hand but they say NO. Mmmm

I can only refer you to my previous comment regarding existing or potential presidents using the same option mine has to contact voters. I would also reiterate that this type of thread detracts from the whole resort.

I wonder if the agenda for the AGM(s) not being finalised is again certain owners blocking  things deliberately to try and make Mileniun look like the bad guy? Some might say that this is a tactic that has been employed to help them pursue their own destructive agenda in the past and is still being used now. Only they know but they only have their interests at heart if this is the case.

Why do people think it is a good idea or acceptable for communications to be posted on a public and very open website? it's like me thanking my bank manager for posting my latest bank statement on a public forum so I can see it. If you don't know who your president is find out - don't use a public forum to complain as that will not provide the answer. Time for me to opt out of EOS again as I can not relate to the 'logic' being used or the destructive mentality of some posters. Such a pity to see what was a great forum destroyed in such a way. 

It is perhaps as well you are opting out how else are we supposed to communicate and network with fellow residents/owners when we are not all there at the same time?  I thought that was the reason for such forums!!

I for one do know who my garden president is. I have known his name & his address on Condado since he was first elected.

He does not know who I am because it is evident he cannot be bothered to find out.

Having purposely traveled to Campasol to have a letter translated into spanish & having posted the same into his mail box I have still not had anycommunication from him

I am not alone when I say this.

Hi Folks, i have been watching this thread with interest to me how can you trust someone when they smile in your face and then stick a knife in your ribs wake up people get your vote in

Sadly I feel it may already have hit the fan chaddyowl, if we haven't got enough money to meet our obligations in 2013 then that can only be bad for the resort as something will have to give.  I hope that people are concerned enough about their investment and resort  to make the effort and put their vote in even though aparthy rules with some!!!
