We recently changed address in the UK where our Endesa bills were sent and wrote to them twice to inform them but had no response on both occassions. We haven't received any bills either.

Our agent now tells us that our electricity has been cut off.

Does anyone know where we should write to Endesa? We have sent letters to two different addresses, including their office in Estepona with no success.

The last time we got cut off we had the hassle of going to their office in Estepona and had to pay about 400 Euros in charges that the conjured up out of nowhere. Unbelievable - but as most people know they are a law unto themselves.

The address and phone number of the Electricity Company can be found on your Endesa Bill,as it has happened to you twice now, it  may be a good idea to set up a direct debit for water as well.

Does anyone know what phone number to ring for Endesa?

I tried the 80076033 to no avail all last week.

I need to speak to an English speaking person.

Thanks.

Fiona

Hi Fiona,

You seem to have missed a digit. It's 800 760 333

They now have an online facility in English.

It's www.endesaonline.com

You then see a Union Jack and click on that and you can put in your details from your bill [factura] to register

This is not easy, but if you ensure you use all the same numbers and details as your bill you should be ok.

e.g. use the same [mis] spelling of your name.  If it's your NIE number on your bill put that in - not your passport number.

If you manage to get in you can download bills and send messages to "Customer Service" etc etc.

Of course you are not guaranteed a sensible or rational answer, but it's worth a try!

If you need more help let me know and I will try to assist.

Tom
