I have received 3 seperate emails today from Mileniun on their 'do not reply to this email' account. All three are in Spanish with no alternate English translation and the word Securidad is in the title of two of them. I am fluent in four languages but unfortunately they are Australian, American, Canadian and English so I cannot understand what they are trying to tell me. I have emailed them to ask for an English version but have received nothing back. Can anyone shed any light on what these are or are they specific to me only.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey,
I've had the same 3 e-mails. 2 for bids in respect of security and one for maintaining the pools and gardens. Baffled really. Maybe this is transparency ML style.

Yes folks everything seems to be in order and is documented on the owners website. A total of four docs uploaded now, being a technical and a glossary for each of security and gardening. Can't see if we have a choice in the matter but both the contracts are broken down correctly and carefully categorised so I have to be honest by saying I'm impressed with the level of detail. Think Positive!!

Thanks guys, Its all clear to me now.
I am a big supporter of Mileniun and the job they are doing, but I have to say this one has me feeling a little disappointed.
Every week I receive an email from them in Spanish and English telling me what trees have been pruned, what lights have been repaired etc etc and I am not complaining about that. However to send me 4 emails in Spanish only and then ignore my requests for clarification seems a bit unprofessional to me. It appears that it is all nicely documented on the website, but I rarely go on there and nothing I have received from them has directed me there. It is only the helpful people on this forum that have shone the light on it for me.
Never the less, they are busy and I will allow them the odd minor mistake before I change my opinion of them.
once again, thanks
Cheers, Dakey

I also think ot should be at least published in Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch and Polish, sure we will get lots of offers from these countries, or do you think it's more for the local contractors? Why do you need it in another language? Sure, if you are a garden contractor and only speak Norwegian it might be difficult but how will you then talk to your client? I think there is no need to have this all translated into all languages, Spanish is the most used language in the western world, I think Rosetta Stone offers some nice courses....

FranknFarter,
Get with the programme mate and read what I am saying, I agree totally that mileniun should illicit quotes for these contracts from local firms and all the documents should therefore be in Spanish alone. What I was mildly complaining about was private emails addressed directly to me in England with one page documents in Spanish that I couldnt understand and no clarification when I politely emailed them and asked for it. By the way, I dont think Spanish is the most used language in Spain never mind elsewhere I think you will find that English is the second and universal language of most countries in the world and certainly Europe, but that is another debate.
