Free , Im not having a job of this size is Free , yes you can paint the wooden fence around the pools Free and the odd Bench but this must of cost a fortune , May be STV included it in there original contract price ? , if they didnt then they must be making alot of profit on condado

STV contract, we will also get extra from them included in the price as follows:
1/ new trees 500 of em.
2/ Painting of pool fences (already started) along with litter bins.
3/ Replace trees on ring road, Tipuanas, the ones that grow really fast.
4/ Benches and trees around Petanca area.
5/ New drainage system around the pools to stop pool water killing grass and water after rain flowing off garden into pool.
6/ More benches to sit on.
7/ Rain and humidity sensors, this is to save water so irrigation doesn't start when its raining or going to.
8/ Dog cack dispensers around the resort.
9/ Artificial grass in inner ring roads to be put down 2,400m2.
10/ Bug treatments to eradicate most dangerous foliage pest Red Rincophorus.
11/ maintain footie pitches.

Thanks for the info Chaddyowl. Good stuff by all accounts.
Do you know if the pitches are being maintained for the community? The last word on this was ML were looking to rent them out to a third party as reported in the President's meeting last June, and as such they were neglected. It would be great for us to have this asset back in use for the busy season.

Freebies, or disguised in the bid price - all these things very welcome many of which we were requesting for a long, long time.

While we are on a roll, how about improvements to the play areas in the 'impoverished' gardens. My young grandson would really, really appreciate a little bit of swing/slide/roundabout company for the poxy, solitary horse on a spring or whatever it is in jardine 8 !!

I will happily turn away, if you would like to come and steel the kids play park from Garden 13! I was supposed to look out onto a swimming pool, instead I got laser pen toting, screaming infants! Bless

It is not the infants,Darren....it is the parents that should never be allowed to have kids when they cannot bring them up properly.

This project has now been running for around 6 weeks, there is no way that something on this scale is free, If they can do this for nothing then may be they should be employed to look after golf course and they can fill the lakes for free.

All these negative attitudes displayed here is just disgusting ….If things were so much better where you came from why don't you just return and
leave us alone down here. What was the water-temp here over Easter ?…How many of you who write here were in the pools which had no work done or finished at that time !?!…The need for this work is a different subject….Some say for water run-off into the pools…..It rains with that kind of intensity 4 to 6 days here out of 365 days…If the water dripping off people coming out of the pool kills the grass then just put a "sand base" along the edges for drainage .
But we,the owners, should have been informed about this matter before the decision was taken to go ahead…That I agree with.

I'm sorry b.bravo I am a loss to follow your point. Initially you lambast residents who are only exercising their democatric right and offering a constructive criticism or opinion. After decrying your fellow members for offering such an opinion you then seem to agree that some form of communication from Mileniun would not have been amiss. You cannot make nasty, churlish comments about your fellow campers for having a go at the lack of communication and planning on behalf of Mileniun and then have a side swipe at Mileniun yourself. As with Mileniun a little bit of consistency wouldn't be a bad thing here.

Exactly …Why come here now,on this forum, and complain about a matter that has been approved and just about completed..Take it up with your local President and ask how and why this big undertaking was initiated and approved without informing us,the owners. What results do you expect from "bitching" on this forum. Waste of time and miss-directed source for complaints.

"Exactly", exactly what? Why did I post here? "Forum", definition, "A medium for open discussion or voicing ideas or opinion" seems a good enough reason to me. Can I ask you what your President thought of the lack of communication from Mileniun in relation to this sizeable project.
