Hi All,
Looking to bring over a set of screws/bolts next time I am over to attached stuff to the outside walls around theh door and wondered if anybody can tell me what the outside walls are made of please?
Ive seen around solid cement blocks, grey hollow blocks filled with concrete or the hollow brown bricks you see around site?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

Hi Martin, The outside walls are solid concrete so you will need your normal Rawl plugs. If your going to put anything up on the inside you will need some plaster toggle fixings for fixing to plaster boards. Hope this helps

I am in the jardines and sure they are the red hollow bricks, when drilling you don't go far before you are all the way through. We put up the lights plus a thermometer (beside the door) and just used some raw plugs.

Thank MGK,
Thats what I was wondering if there was a solid wall or a cavity in the bricks on the outside walls around the door.
I will bring both, but more for a solid wall.
Regards.

It is certainly not solid. The walls are constructed from the hollow clay type blocks you have seen around.

Thanks
I am assuming that the big blinds over the front doors are held on with the long bolts stuck in with chemical cement pumped into the wall then.
Regards,
Martin
