am going over on hols in june all be it to nerja ...about 400 km away

thinkiing about making the trip anyway just to see how things are progressing.

can someone tell me how easy it is to check out the site ... i mean not just the show house but site itself??

When we were there in February, it seemed to be no problem for us to just drive up onto the site and have a good look round, even though there was a lot of work going on.  But of course it was like a building site and a bit bumpy in places, so watch out for the suspension  !!

You will be quite impressed with the whole set up I think, we certainly were.

thanks for that ... so much for H&S then??? no hard hats? no goggles?  knew there was a good reason for buyin in spain.... fewer rules and regs to conform to!

only kiddin ... lookin forward to seeing site, not an easy decision to buy but glad i took the plunge now , certainly seems a very professional set up so far

The last time we visited the development, UGR sales staff drove us around the site in a minibus. We are making a return visit again in June, maybe will see you at the developement.

Hi, I've just discovered this site and will be keeping up to date with it in future. We bought a Swing (Phase1) apartment in March 2006. We're going out to visit the site in July but its reassuring to read about other peoples visits and all the positive news.

Hi    Im  Brian    Im buying a Green Apartment on phase 1   dont know the number off hand but will post all details at a later date.

Im buying with my wife Sue and two children.   

We visited in April 07     It looks like there is a lot of progress and we were told that the development is on time for Dec 2007 Phase 1...    I was suprised to heard that phase 2 will not be complete till 2009 july??

I am totally now to this buying property abraod lark and we are filled with both excitment and concerns!!

PS When we visited we were told that the company had definately purchased more land for the next 9 holes.

Hi Elizabeth seems like quite a few people from Scotland have purchased at UGR these are just some of the area`s in Scotland where we know owners are located, Edinburgh,Inverness.Largs on the west coast,Bathgate.

Paul the nearest town to the development is Sucina or Balsicas, you maybe able to rent a property in Sucina. If you are going on a short visit you could try the towns of Los Alcarzares , San Pedro Del Pinatar, Santiago de la Ribera, all have hotel accomodation and are around 15 mins 20 mins away from the development .

Update regarding our visit to the site on the  13/06,  English and Spanish T.V. channels will be supplied free of charge we will need to purchase a decoder for the premium channels skysports etc.

Lots of work being carried out on the golf course, the seeds etc on the greens where being watered informed that the grass for the rest of the course will be laid soon. The golf course will be managed 50/50 by UGR and another company ( no names ) the greens fees etc,  we where informed that they should be announced soon ( I should hope so ) .

The extension of the site the architect and the course designer are planning this stage together.

Construction work now started at the main commercial centre front, brickwork now also being carried out at the commercial area buildings at the side of the M15 apartments.

I will upload a few photo`s of the site ASAP.
