key holding and airco

We came back a few weeks ago from a short stay at our newly bought and furnised appartment in block 269. We really love it!

As we are planning to rent it out we are looking for a keyholder. We found that The House Maids offer a very good deal. Does anyone have experience with them? 

Another thting is that we are looking to place aircondittioning in our apartment. We got an offer at Climazone who are specialised in placing the aircons in Polaris. We were told that it is not possible to place a cheaper airo from, let say Carrefour. Does anyone know another company who places aircons at Terrazas for a good price?

I had my Aircon installed in April and used Tien21 from Roldan. I had 3 individual units installed as the roofspace was large enough to take them all which was cheaper that a large single unit. They did a neat & tidy installation.

I could have got it cheaper or dearer but they did such a good job of fitting my lights/white goods that they gave me confidence (overall I would say they were mid price band). They did offer me expensive 'Panasonic' units but I talked them down to a 'Spanish' manufacturer Daiken which do seem pretty good.

During installation, they had to run additional power cables down the conduit from the roof which cost me ~€120 total from memory.

For keyholder I use Sparklecleancondado who have been good and helped with a few small jobs (socket moving etc).

Back out for some golf end May...can't wait for some sun!

I used an Englishman called Steve from Summerbreeze near Torrevieja. He´s on the internet.. There are sometimes problems with kinked pipework and drainage pipes with pre installation and he is the only one I found who does a free preliminary survey to check this. We also had 3 units fitted to our place on the Island. It´s important, even if you are on the top floor, to have the sytem boosted with extra freon so the system is completely full. Some companies might not do this and the efficiency of the units would be diminished.

For keyholders, I use an English couple who live on our development and go under the name of Murcia Holidays. They have been in the area for many years I feel it´s always good to have someone close by in case of need.

We have been in block 269 for over 2 years now. We also used Steve. My husband works with Air con and he did a good job and knows his stuff.

Over again in July, it will be great to have a few neighbours at last.
