My friends TV lost most of the channels last week (approx 9 days ago) how can she fix it? Is this also symptomatic of the a2z upgrade? She has 3 wee girls who are gutted at not gettin their pop girl channel! At advice greatly appreciated. Arlene. Ps it is not a digibox as the TV has a built in thingymmyjigger.

Yes. We even collared the guy from a2z yesterday who couldn't get it retuned. It is also a Samsung. His verdict was that the coaxial lead from the aerial socket was faulty so perhaps this is the case. He says the lead is a cheap Chinese one and that a better lead may work. Seems a long shot and not one i am too convinced by but who knows? Will get a new lead today and try out. Cheers. Arlene.

We replaced our cheap Chinese cable a few weeks ago after practically losing all the channels to large amounts of blocky pictures and what a difference it made. TV is perfect now. Shame it took a visit from a2z at 30 euro to find that out ! The engineer did say the cable he left was free though !!

I beleive you can get a (20 euro deposit for return) dongle at The Clover that will reset the channels- at least for those that have the original Polaris digibox. There was some rejig of channel early last week or just before and many people have had problems resetting.

Carried out searches/installations set out below, but no signal with BBC or ITV channels. Got the USB II box as well. Any idea? Always had BBC and ITV prior to channel rejig. Cheers.
