Barclays Bank - Puerto Mazzaron

Can anyone tell me where the nearest branch of Barclays Banks is now that the one in the Port appears to have closed down so I have been told?

Hi. They are now at Cartagena. Barclays closed their bank in Porto Mazarron on the 15th August.

Do you know where in Categena?

It is on Calle Carmen near the Plaza Espana roundabout.

If coming up  Calle Mayor from the port take the right fork on to Calle Mayor and the bank is at the far end. About ten minutes walk I  would think. Takes me longer though as I need to call into shops and have a coffee etc etc.

We spoke to the girl who worked at the bank and she said its near the council buildings near the port? Don't know if it's the one you are talking about Jean? Probably several ways to get to it if its in the centre. We are coming back out in October and will have to go there. Must admit... Saving the bank at Peurto Mazarron was ideal. And the staff where very helpful. The manager has moved to the bank at Cartagena, and he has given us his business card. We are now thinking of doing our banking transactions online.... Very sad!

I think it is the one that the girl in the bank told you about. I remember calling in there to ask for directions to the INSS offices when we were registering for health care.

The address is shown as Calle  Puerta de Murcia 26, Cartagena.

I gave those directions as most people park in the underground car park on the seafront and that is easiest route from there.
