Hi There - As a new boy on the b lock for forums I thought it might be a good idea to know my neighbours before we complete in December 2008.

We are buying quod villa No. 5 in the phase 4 development, though the purpose is to use it as a holiday home in the sun from October to March. After that we will let the children use it and let it out to friends, neighbours and maybe anyone who wishes to give me money.

Maybe as we get older and our social life slows down we will be out in Spain more often.

Do we know if the developers generally keep to the dates they propose?

Has any bodty tried a furniture pack from Taray and what did they think of it?

What about air conditiong? Do we need it? What is the cost for Taray to install it?

Do we know if there is a bank in the village & if so what is its name?

Would be please to know what anyone has thought of there property if they have already completed and moved over to Spain.

At the moment we are not planning to visit the development again until early November. Three weeks in Southern Ireland and 3 weeks in Portugal August/September with all the family gets in the way.

By the way has any body driven from England to the delvelopment either through France or from Northern Spain? If so how long did it take and did you both drive.

We look forward to a few bottles of wine with all the new friends we are about to make.

Yes there is a bank in village called caja Murcia

On the general forum there is quite lengthy discussions of people who have driven to Spain under general chit chat - direct ferries etc

From what i can gather the buildings are finished on time but the licenses have delayed all the properties so far by quite a few months

Air - conditioning... up to you. We are trying without but have concerns we might melt in the summer! There is a thread somewhere about air-con and prices. It seems most people are having it installed
