Wristbands for pool access

They changed it this year - last year we had guest bands too which, for some reason, they did not agree on this year (that's what I was referring to that was brought in this year).  This was brought up at the AGM - although it doesn't appear to have been voted on, just discussed.  I think the guest bands were a good idea and are something that we should bring back - or increase the number of bands issued to owners.

I would hope that a bit of common sense would be applied in yours & similar cases. If there are five of you and four have the bands, I doubt very much that you would be asked to leave. The aim of the bands originally was to stop non residents of DV coming in and using the pools, plus try and stop non payers of the community fees (of which there were many) from using the pools. 

Re security, I may be wrong but I think legally the security men at the gate house cannot refuse entry to the site and that there is a general right of way to enter. The barriers and the security hut are just a deterent to anyone up to no good.

i won't be leaving anywhere when I am across next month so I wonder what will happen then?

We arrived on 5 August and leave today.  We haven't been asked for our bands (which we leave in our bag) once in that whole 3 + weeks.  We are a two bed and whilst there are only four of us I think it's ridiculous to decide that only four occupants are allowed pool access per apartment.  I'm certain that wouldn't be legal anyway.  Has anyone else been asked to show their bands in August or did security stop checking in July?
