Hi all
as a new owner I am not sure how this works
its coming up soon and there is no agenda or chat about what may be needing to be raised at the meeting
do we chat on here to raise agenda issues, I can understand why we may not want to do that!

A month before your meeting you should get a Notice and Agenda as well as a Budget for 2016 and the Annual Accounts for 2015. These should be sent or delivered from your Administrator/Community Office Manager. Also there will be a close off date for Special Resolutions or suggestions for improvement to your Urbanisation to be tabled at this AGM.

Hi I guess our current issue, smell from unoccupied apartment below us could qualify as a burning question and I wonder if other residents have experienced this. Anyhow AEA are advised and have contacted current owners but as yet no feedback. Meanwhile our short break has not been very pleasant and surely AEA could take some immediate action when it might constitute a health hazard and this is caused by a smell coming from an apartment hopefully it is nothing more nasty than water traps that have run dry and sewage smell is building up in the apartment.

AGM normally conducted in English if majority owners are English with a Translator for the Spanish Speaking Owners. Alternatively if majority of the Owners are Spanish,then it will be run in Spanish with an English Translator available on the day. We almost had a riot one year when the majority of AGM attendees were Spanish Speaking so the meeting was conducted in Spanish with English Translations given when needed.

As a new owner in dv I am astonished at some of the figures spent on things like cleaning and maintenance?
100 k plus
what is being cleaned and maintained that costs that much??

We should be getting the minutes of the A.G.M. any day now. A.E.A. used to mail them (hard copy snail mail). Thankfully this costly practice ceased and they are posted on the A.E.A. DV ommunity official site and you get an email notification.
They can be fun to read sometimes. I'm looking forward to reading about the discussion that gave rise to the new bollards. Not sure if those bollards will last the summer though. We may get some intoxicated renters in the mad months of July and August.
