Hi weather here New Years Day is brilliant blue skies 17 deg decided to go for a stroll at Los Alcazares I am afraid the beach in certain areas is destroyed large crevices on the beach where the flood waters have run between the building and into the sea taking the sand with it and leaving rubble and rubbish behind no doubt things will be back to normal but a lot of work to be done beforehand to be ready for the summer season, good to see the tapas bar La Encarnaction on the seafront was packed lots of people sitting inside and out .
As for Los Alcazares town centre if you did't know there had been floods doesn't really look any different just a lot of dried mud on some roads and sidewalks the square at 525 looks unaffected just a bit quite this time of year the EL Patio restaurant across from the square was fully booked with lots of Spanish Families eating there.
Happy New Year To everyone at Las Terrazas
