Can anyone recommend A/C installers?

We have asked for quotes from;

Summerbreeze: called straight back and arranged a site visit same day.

Air-Menor: awaiting response from email request for quote.

Climazone: website doesn't appear to work and email address doesn't work either (will try phoning during business hours)

Been using Spanish company for years for both personal and clients, http://www.clizama.com/

They are based in Pilar,do have English speakers and a working website but possibly a bit larger company

As per response on other forums, our aircon was already iinstalled and we used Summerbreeze as recommded by our keyholder for servicing. Goog service, reasonable price, no problems.

Another owner used them for installation and had some draining problems. Summerbreeze wouldn't help. I did message my keyholder about this as I felt guilty because I made the recommendation and was told that they had resolved it. Might be worth a PM to the author just to check.

Just check the prices for branded products and specifications,  from the various suppliers, you might be shocked

I had a client in the Mar Menor and like for like the unit provided by Clizama was almost €600 less expensive, same unit, same specification, same guarntee. Seems that LG had a special offer for the larger suppliers

Drainage problems are normal on the pre-installation, especially on Polaris but normally simple to resolve if they check this first

A number of us in our block have used Climazone and we're very happy with the price and service. They are one of the companies that take a bit of care in placing the units on the roof, where as some just throw them into place and don't consider airflow. Also they include ALL work in their costs, some charge extra for the control wiring between room and roof units. Some charge a few hundred euros extra for these.

Can highly recommend Clizama, they were competitive and offered excellent warranty.

Thanks everyone. It's good to get opinions and recommendations. Having dealt with suppliers before and being ripped off or getting below par service, we prefer to go with recommended suppliers.

In this instance, we have decided to go with Climazone. They have had the most recommendations, here and elsewhere I have inquired.
