Hi
Thought I would start a new optomistic thread in the hope that we all might get some good news soon.
It's really great to hear that the site is looking better each day. We are going over in a couple of weeks so we will take some photos of recent developments and post them on the forum.
We don't have any updates on the escrituras but we will post anything we find out during our trip. We are still having to rent each time we visit so it would be so good to finally get our keys!
Jo

Hi
We just got back last night after 8 lovely sunny days! The famous red turrets have been taken down!
Work on site was frantic on the apartments and commercial centres (but the commercial units are still unoccupied) although rumour is that they soon will be.
The apts. look better now they are painted white with yellow trim, the same as the commercial centres.
They were marking out white lines on the open area in front of the commercial units and some landscaping was already in place e.g. paved areas and lights.
Communal areas in Phase 1 look good with paving, lights and benches.
Also, in the office was a large official sign with Ayuntamiento de Murcia on it which I guess is going up on site. It stated that the building licence was granted on 24th May 2007! My solicitor still feels though that deeds will not be available until after the summer closure. Grupo Trampolin agreed with his prediction and said "may be October" The word is that phase 2 and 3 may be granted before phase 1.
Javier the solicitor has left the company and a lady called Laura has taken his place. She seemed very helpful and friendly but couldn't shed any light on the escrituras!
Does anyone else have any news?

Hi, we are on phase 1, still awaiting Escritura's after are property has been finished now for over a year... Please to hear that the infrastructure around phase one is going well. we will be out in the summer but staying at Mar Menor Golf resort, though I have every intention of meeting with Laura to discuss how long it will be..I believe I am one of a number of familys that paid 50% upfront and balance due on completion with deeds..Villa complete on time....no sign of deeds !!!!
I am willing to stick it out because I feel the area will continue to benefit from the investment in the region, especially with the new airport due in 2009...
I bought my property with the help of agent Elite Spanish Properties... anyone else had any dealings with this company.
Shepp

Hi all,
Just back from Portugal. Whilst there I seen an entire apartment complex of 90 homes fully constructed and sold out, but without a habitation licence for over 6 months due to the fact that a few small internal changes were made without notifying the authorities. It was suggested that a further 3/4 month wait was on the cards. Nobody was allowed to inhabit the building until all is sorted. It's caused endless grief for all concerned. Has a certain ring to it!
So you see, it happens everywhere!
Good luck to you all.

All the outside walls on Phase 1 have been repainted - white - and a very professional job has been done. When you drive up the main avenue at night with all the lights on and the trees flowering it looks really welcoming. The "old" arc lights on the island on Phase 1 have been replaced this afternoon with much more professional and effective lights which have been switched on this afternoon but it is too light to know how bright they are!! The temperatures have been soaring and tthe pool is getting warmer and more welcoming!!
We had a visit this morning from Ronnie and representatives of the Murcia Council who wanted to take pictures of my plot and also were ticking of various items on the plan of the plot and some checklist - as they didnt speak English and my Spanish is limited, I'm not sure what was going on but I think that the visit bodes well. Maybe the final licences for Phase 1 are not far away??

Hi
We are going out for a few days next week, so we will report back with any news.
Our solicitor has contacted the notary working on the escrituras and they wouldnt give any clue as to when they would be ready. My solictor thinks after the summer shut down is more likely now and thinks maybe October time? But it's only his best guess! There is no information forthcoming from Trampolin. We spoke to Laura (their new solicitor) a few weeks ago and she couldn't give any idea of timescales either.
Shepp, perhaps you could ask your solicitor to speak to the notary and see if they can find out more?
We will take some more photos of the communal areas and post them next week.
P.S . We had a letter today from Grupo Trampolin and I thought "this is it! they are ready for us to complete!" Unfortunately it wasn't about completion. It was from their auditors asking us to confirm how much money we have paid to date. I think someone on the forum has already mentioned this. Has everyone been asked to provide this information?

I have also had a letter from Trampolin's auditor I passed the info on to my solicitor I would advice people not to deal direct with the builder always go through your solicitor.

Hi. I am new to the forum, I am Ernie ( the Gas Man).
I am on phase II of El Trampolin.
We have just return from the development on the 25th June.
The roads are now tarmac'd on the property and commercial centre roads.
The builder has just contacted me regarding the remainder of our funds. After a few e-mails between the builder and our solicitor it transpires that the escrituras will not be available until September at the earliest.
The weather was great and we will be returning in August.
Regards
Ernie

Hi Ernie
It's nice to hear from another purchaser. We are off today (only for a couple of days) to look for furniture etc. Looking forward to a bit of sunshine.
Are you been pressed for more cash? It's happened to most people who are waiting for the legal papers before we can get mortgages. We've been promised so many dates now for our deeds, it doesn't mean anything anymore!
Pleased to hear the site is still progressing though. Did you take any pictures you could post on the forum?

No, We are not being pressed for maore cash, more are we in a position to pay for the remainder or would we like a El Trampolin to arrange a mortgage.
As a consequence we were informed that the licences had been obtained for our villa and that El TRampolin were to sign the necessary documents in preparation of our deeds.
Hope the weather is still fine, looking forward to getting back out there in August.
Ernie

Hi
We took a few photos of the commercial area last week and posted them on the forum. A couple of them are being furnished but it looks like office equipment (boring!)
Had a look inside the larger unit which is still bare inside but would make a great supermarket/restaurant.
No other news to tell. Phase 1 is almost finished and looks good. Phase 2 now has tarmac on the roads. Activity much quieter as the apartments are nearing completion also. They both have communal pools which look nice and have great views of the area.
No news on paperwork. Guess it will have to wait until after the summer shut down!

Hi to all, I will be so glad to be making a trip to Murcia tomorrow and the short journey to El Trampolin to spend 6 weeks over there. It is great to see that the commercial centre is taking shape and there are some more possitive comments are being written. I have spent probably 14 weeks over the last 10 months getting the place how I want it and I am looking forward to not doing too much over the coming weeks. I will take some photos and upload them when I return but if in the meantime if anyone is spending time out there then feel free to call round and say hello - No 158. Trevor

If any one is thinking of coming out, make sure you bring high protection sun factor it is really hot.
The commercial centre is coming on really well with planned openings for 6 new units which are a Furniture Store, a Restaurant, a car hire business, a supermarket, gym and solicitors. The restaurant actually looks like it will be bigger than the supermarker but at least we will have one!!

I'm so pleased to hear about the supermarket and restaurant. It's what we really need. I doubt I will be using the gym though!
Any idea about when they are likely to open? I saw the furniture shop and gym being fitted out last week but not the food shops.
I thought the kiddies play area at the front was nice too!

Hi worried
I just noticed on the Grupo Trampolin web site that the company is about to open a car hire facility and a furniture shop. So I guess the ones opening on site are the company's own!
Is that right? Have you heard anything about this on site?
Hope they don't own all the shops otherwise we will feel Trampolin is running the whole show!
