Just for info, in case anyone hasn't noticed (like me, up until now!!), if you log into the owners area in AEA's site, you will see under "Bulletin Board" the full minutes of the El Hacho EUC meeting in November, which, to me, are much more comprehensive than the minutes posted on the el hacho site.
Lots of concerns were raised at that meeting, which seemed to be swept under the "let's just get on with it" table by Zotano. And interesting to note that much of the el hacho community was represented by certain persons with no real interest in the communities themselves and much more interested in the companies that have nominated them to represent certain communities!!
I'm sure, that as DV isn't actually listed in the Minutes, it could well be added retrospectively, that is if it isn't already represented by an "area". I noticed on the list of communities (which AEA also have on their website) Ros y Falcon represent an "Area I 1" and also "Area E 2" - maybe DV comes under that representation. Interesting to note that it appears after amended coefficients were taken into account, RyF have a massive 16pc of the vote!! I'm sure that must take into account their ownership in properties not yet completed in developments like DV and, possibly, Castillos de la Duquesa and, maybe, Coto Real.
If anyone is interested, download and read the Minutes of AEA's website - not quite used to praising them, but their version of the meeting is much more detailed that el hacho's!! Or maybe it's just the translation!! This message was last edited by Pitby on 6/16/2007.

You have to contact AEA (one would think they would provide this info, though) and get your log in and password from them, then you can enter the owners area. Must say that our given log in and password didn't work, and then when queried we were given another user name and password and it was fine - but change it as soon as you can, just to make sure!!

Edited highligh from a Spanish newspaper:-
The European Parliament on Wednesday adopted a resolution which severely condemns massive urbanisation projects in some areas of Spain which they say bear no relation to the real requirements of the towns and villages affected,
The resolution on the results of the latest fact-finding mission to Andalucía, Valencia and Madrid considers that ‘the obligation to cede legitimately acquired private property without due process and proper compensation,’ together with arbitrary costs for what is described as ‘often unnecessary infrastructure development’ is a violation of fundamental rights under the European Convention. The resolution was passed with 327 votes in favour, 222 against and 35 abstentions.
I thnk we will need to carefully monitor any expenditure the Town Hall incurs and remind them of the European Parliament's resolution and report any unnecessary expenditure to the appropriate MEP.

John,
Try Janette Mitchell first she works (worked) for Rafael Mena who is on the Manilva Council as a Party Popular member, I don't know if she still has her job after the local elections. Her job was responsibility for the foreigners in Manilva she is English as you know but is fluent in Spanish. She has an office in calle Miguel Delibes (spelling?) its 2nd left from the Sabinillas roundabout towards the sea and her office is next to AMMEX the administrators about 80m down the road on the right.
She helped us fix parking issues up at Balcones.

Well, how about that.
I have today received notification from Banco Andalucia that 300 Euros has been taken out of my account with them on 19th June and paid directly to "Urb. El Hacho, Puerto de la regularizacion". I have never supplied my bank details or given authorisation or been informed in any way about the existence of this El Hacho entity apart from what I have read on this forum.
Unbelievable!!!!!
Steve
Ps. A little word for EOS and all those who contribute to the forums. Thank you, I can't imagine what it would be like understanding and dealing with these issues without the help of this forum.

Received an email from our lawyer, in preparation of our signing of Title Deeds, advising us of the following: "please do add 300€ as provision of funds for the Community of the Home Owners at Duquesa Village". Is this what this El Hacho is? should we challenge this charge?

Steve,
I assume you will be contacting he bank and telling them that you want it refunding as it's unauthorised.
Lavrod - I would refuse to pay it for the time being until the position is clarified. There is a meeting to discuss it being held at the golf club on 14th July.

When we completed in March 300 Euros were taken on the day that we completed for community fees, but this was by AEA as an introductory amount for the funds of the community and not this El Hacho that is being talked about. Which I must admit I have not got my head around at all. I would think that it is the same that you are being asked for.

Steve...I told Banco Andalucia to not pay anything to El Haco without my agreement. Ignacio the manager agreed that he doesnt pay anything unless somebody requests it and so far I havent paid it...touch wood.
The €300 charge when you move in is basically memebership costs to join the community of DV.
The meeting on 14th will be interesting ...its the people opposed to this charge who are organising it. I have been spaeking with an owner in Los Hildagados(spelling) and they have a macro community charge to pay along with local taxes and community charge. So it seems to be quite common it seems.

Up until now I was clear about my community payments. I completed around the 1st Feb 2007 and my community payment was 390,30 a qtr so I paid 260.20 up until the end of March and 390,30 for the period April, May, June.
I guess from what is being said that there is a 300 Euros membership fee that most have paid, is that right? if so then it looks like they have caught up with me and that has been charged. The interesting thing is it clearly stated "el hacho" on the payment description and not anything related to AEA or CP Duquesa Village.
