Listed building - any advice will be gratefully received.

I spoke to a Director of Calanova Sea Golf on Tuesday last the 12th June. He confirmed that Block 6 will be ready for habitation in early August. When I asked him about the hill - site of the proposed hotel, he told me that they had taken a recent decision to build a smaller block of apartments (colonial)on that site so the good news is the hill will go but it remains to be seen how the "new block" will affect the views.

That is interesting because I also heard that the hill site has been re-zoned from hotel to apartment. If they remove the hill and build a 2 or 3 storey building the views should not be affected. I am not sure if they WILL move the hill though. If they build on top of the hill then view will definately be affected. However, although the site has been re-zoned the developer is not planning to build there themselves. The land is for sale and with the current climate on the CDS there are no buyers. It maybe sometime before we have to worry about it. Eventually of course it WILL be built upon and irrespective of WHAT is built there the construction work will be intrusive for a couple of years. Block 1 and 3 swimming pools may be overlooked. Still, this is all conjecture and nothing to lose any sleep about. Another glass of rioja and worry about it tomorrow, this is Spain after all.
