It's getting scary now, even Parador must be getting excited as I have received a letter off them telling me they have finally got around to setting up the Owners Club website which will show individual unit progress.....wonders will never cease....! Now I will be able to keep tabs on my plot of dirt...!

I've just registered on the site.  My property is built - almost completed.  Anyone else in the same situation?  I'm on manzana 8.  Looking forward to some photos at last.

Why at this stage, do we need a letter from Parador, telling us that we can see on their web site, and in photo's, at what stage or property is not at ?.

We already know at what stage it's not at.   We've known for the last year and a half.....Some of us, and I refer to those who have pulled out, have known a lot longer.   And they have had to go to court to get their money back!.

The basic line is and it says it all at the end of their letter, theyre still hopeful (as are we all) that it will go ahead, but they don't know when the Govenrment will give them the go ahead.   Thats about the size of it.  

Sorry for dumping like this, but the same tune has been played for far to long.

Guess I can see your point but one of my problems all the time has been that I haven't had enough info, so I'm not going to object to more info at this stage.  We don't know the date yet and it's still moving slowly, but at least it's moving.  I'm no 6, by the way, so hi to my potential neighbours if we ever get through this!

I too have been waiting for over 2 years now since paying my 1st penny and hoping that good news will come soon.. Although I must say that, sending out a letter to buyers on ACC with the sole intention of getting non club members like myself to cough up over £600.00 to look at their photos is a damn cheek.  Why have they not given all ACC purchasers a free membership ( would make a nice gesture) or am I just being greedy!!

Hi everyone.  Went up to the Almanzora Country Club site on Friday with 2 of my colleagues.  Since our last visit earlier in the year, nothing had changed and the spotted dog still runs out to greet visitors.  We think he is actually in charge!

The grass is still manicured outside the showhouses although the large hoarding signs at the entrance are still on the floor having been blown over many months ago. 

The problem with Huma is that they never give out any information, and agents, such as ourselves, receive no updates at all - hence our frequent visits to the site to view it at first hand.

Our advice would be to not pay to view the Owner's site because there is absolutely nothing new to see, and contrary to recent reports, no new building has been started.

We have had one of our local sales team visiting the site every 2 weeks since shutdown and nothing has improved.  It is unfortunate that Huma decided to then produce such a lovely new brochure - but for what purpose? 

It gave us and our clients misguided hope.  Of course nothing has happened, Huma merely bought themselves a little more time, and we are all as deflated as ever.
