I think the reason Huma expect not to pay any compensation if we decide to pull out (obviously after the 2 year period as stipulated in your contract, so Huma are in breach) is that a few people have walked away with their 1st installment, not even insisting on getting their 3000 deposit back. To be honest, I think some consider it a lucky escape, so they're not making a huge fuss.
Whatever Huma tell you, they are liable for compensation. They knowingly sold this project without having been granted full and final approval.
They just know that most of us are nervous of taking Huma through the Spanish courts. So let's all get together. Just a suggestion.
Huma have told me that they still have not decided what form of compensation will be given if buyers do wait for their properties to be built! Which seems highly disorganised to me as Huma has had enough time to figure it out, surely?
