Fed up to the back teeth with OVP

Anyone want to buy my apartment Block 6 ground floor looks over the "conservation area" (as quoted by OVP 4 years ago)

We flew out to Manilva beach specially to see for ourselves what is going on, this was in May 5th to 6th 2007.  To say the least we were disgusted nor could we find anyone anywhere to say a positive word for OVP

Next door to the OVP site is a MASSIVE six storey Building and everywhere else is a total mess with many many other developments going on, there is no way in the next six months that the OVP complex could be classed as a "HOLIDAY COMPLEX" just have a look at their intial "Artist impression" of the site 4 years ago and now look at the reality - there is no comparison, if there were any bookings for the complex this year (which I doubt) then it is unlikely anyone will come back the next year, I certainly would not.  Allegedly the MASSIVE SIX STOREY to the seaward side of the OVP complex was supposed to be two stories high but it appears only those taking a holiday in the local Malaga Prison know the answers

Has anyone noticed that the only time OVP bother to contact us is when they want yet more money which was not clarified at the intial sales pitch, never any updates on progress just the usual threatening letters stating that if we do not jump 10 feet in the air when OVP say jump they say the developers will take all away from us- OVP travel does it really exist are they actually doing anything - is my view on this development wrong whereby we bought for investment and all would be taken care of as far as bookings go but now they claim it is completed - with no proof - and expect us to start paying a mortgage or hand over the final cash when there is little or no chance of getting income back for us.

As someone suggested we should start an owners committe and start getting answers from them. I am not that familiar with these "forums" and not sure how we can use this to contact each - other can anyone help on that my email is here somewhere on the site if anyone wants to contact me direct or via the forum please do - I also have over one hundred photos of the mess out there taken in May

I do not think I am alone in my thoughts but we do all have to be a little careful of what is said in public hence suggestion direct email

Been on this forum once or twice before but my wife and I are a bit nervous that all this negative correspondence may just make things worse.

We are concerned that our savings are tied up in a property that may not be what we thought and may actually go down in value rather than up.

We are confused as to where the fault really lies. Is it with Ocean View who, although as they say are merely an agent, did sell us it and make the promises or is it the developer who sounds as though he is not meeting his obligations.

If there is to be a meeting of some kind where i could get more clarification I would certainly make an effort to attend, Ocean View being there or not.

With both of us being close to retirement this is a worry that we could well do without.
