When we were in LO it was great to see the children (and adults) enjoying the pool - and I think the small pool has great possibilities as a play area for very young children. However, it could be some time before the football or whatever pitch is completed so I wonder if it is worth thinking about the community providing a table tennis table in the garden area? They come with covers to protect them from the elements, and it is the only thing I can think of where we can take control ourselves and provide something, particularly for the children. Table tennis of course would not be exclusively for the kids - I enjoy a game myself!!! We would have to keep it simple - so only table provided with net and cover. Each owner to provide paddles and ping pong balls themselves. There may be hundreds of reasons for not doing this - so it is just a thought. What do other people think?
I will try to put photos up this weekend.
