This is a question for Maria de Castro - Purchase of Off-Plan house.

We have bought in block 38, and have been advised by MRI that it would be best to have the appartment "industrially cleanned" .the cost of which is  250 euros. this seems quite a lot of money to me. Can anybody who has already exchanged keys on their property tell me Is it really necessay to have this service or is it just a couple of hours of cleanning of superficial dust.I dont fancy cleanning for days at the start of my holiday but I dont mind a general surface clean.

Also does anybody currently rent out their appartment and have somebody locally to do the cleanning and laundry upon departure of clients, and if so what are they charging.

We were going to go with MRI for our industrial clean but changed our mind due to their appalling customer service since we reserved our apartment.

We have been in contact with Maggie & Rob from WWW.Realexpectations.eu & they have indicated that based on their hourly rate, an industrial clean would work out approximately 120Euros. This figure does vary depending on how the property is left but they did say that Key Mare are one of the better ones.

They also do property management, cleaning, meet & greet etc. I also had a "glowing" reference from one of their existing clients, which I know you have to look at realistically but they seem very friendly, helpful people. In fact since I first got in contact with them, they have taken photos of Thalassa & sent them to me to show how it was progressing.
