It is raining here in Wales and the only ray of sunshine is the fact that Spurs are 3 nil up against Derby !

We are considering a pool but the prices from PEINSA are not justifiable so we will be waiting until we are allowed access to build when phase 1 is complete September 2009.

We will definitely be getting a pool.  Not really looked into companies/ various costs yet but we will install the pool before we move out.

We definately would like a pool built and wanted one reasonably early on, but Anthony says that it can't be done until September 2009, did you get this information from Peinsa?. We already have one quote for a pool and although unfortunately we can't make the Coventry weekend we would be really interested in seeing what other people will be doing, especially if we can all club together and cut a deal with this guy from the other forum

Yes the pool information came direct from PEINSA in July, they will not allow other contractors on site until the whole of phase 1 is complete.

I agree to the point of buying together, it would give the builder a regular job for several months on one site, and allow him also to negotiate with his Suppliers "bulk" deliveries to the same site....we all benefit !

Hi Everyone

With regards to the pools, Piensa are quoting high becaue they don't want to do them, at present, however if they choose to do the pools the price will reduce drastically, maybe even below market value.

They won't allow pool building until the villa is finished, but this means your villa not all of a certain phase etc. (see the we're in spain at the moment any questions thread for more about this)

We know a company that will build the pools and for cheaper than anyone else because they already have the volume of owners on their books (160 of them in La Tercia)

They also claim to have the relationship with Piensa that will allow them to start work beofre a villa is complete, infact actually get Piensa to dig the hole!!

We'll talk more about this in Coventry I'm sure.

If you do go back to Site can you just double check that we can have a pool put in when our villa is ready and not wait for the whole of Phase1 ?   I understood it to be when the villa was ready like you have said though.  When we bought they did say they weren't keen on doing the pools themselves too.

yes we want to build pool too and don't fancy waiting till phase 1 is finished.. we were lead to believe we could build a pool once the villa is complete.

we would be interested in getting group quotes etc please keep us informed .will not be able to go to coventry. hope you all have a fab time
