Company called Resale Strategy

Hi

Can anyone advise what the procedure is in Spain for these?   We've heard that someone recently sold their property in Spain after a few years to be surprised with a substantial bill for each of the above (they owed the equivalent of 10 years). 

They were told it was something they should have set up on buying the property.

We're not sure if this is only for permanent residents in Spain or if we have to contribute for owning a property - can anyone advise please?

Hi,

I believe you have to pay your local taxes IBI at the town hall iand t is based on value of property i think, but apparantly they wont ask you for it, and the costs just build up if you dont sort it.
