You have obviously had a better taxi experience than we had.  We were out in August and had driven to Villaricos with the intention of leaving the car after having a meal, however, we asked the English waitress if we would have any problems getting a taxi and she checked it out for us.  We were then told there were only 2 on (Saturday night) and one was in Murcia and the other one "didnt like the sound of us" , 2 adults and 4 children, hardly a gang of drunk, rampant teenagers.  I ended up not drinking and having to drive back.

Maybe we were just unlucky.

i also used the TAXI service 950 22 61 61 .... best i have used here so far... they are on time also...

to add to the above.. this service is the best value but late at night the person answering the phone may not have great english.. if this is a problem
