Easter in Spain

HI ALL.

Just got back from a week in Spain. Looks like the building will be starting any time now. Machinery begining to come in. One little bit of information which we came upon purely by chance. Anyone out there who has bought an Azucena you might like to know that with the shower room on the ground floor which is nice but a bit small, you can have the door to open OUT instead of inwards at NO extra cost which means the room is not so cramped.San Jose are just waiting for the license to come in the post and everybody seems to be upbeat.Fingers crossed................

Hi all, just back from Spain and a visit to site and San Jose office where we met with Grettel and interestingly the lawyer Yoana who told us that realistically it will be about 2 months before licences can be issued and therefore work will commence.   Yes there seems to be a build up in preparation for construction with cranes and area cleared for storage of materials.  I hate to put a dampener on it but we have been hearing this story about licences due to be issued for nearly 12 months so we are a little bit sceptical.  However this is the most recent update from someone in authority from San Jose.  Keep your fingers crossed.  Once licences have been approved, they will agree and reissue the schedule.  It is also now a requirement that all roads and infrastructure is completed prior to building of properties.  The dates will all be out.

 Do I understand right that work will commence before the  licences are issued? Or am i reading it incorrectly?

Yes i think that js means the licenses may take a couple of months and building will start then, so we are looking at December time.The lawyer though is only guessing because the spanish are a bit slow as we all know, but lets hope she has misjudged.
