Hi everybody, 

We have a villa on phase 2, does anyone know anything about the onsite management company?  I have looked on the Finca Parcs website and there is nothing on there about them.  Thanks.

If you ask your agent(in my case select properties)they will send you details of a management company who are offering all the usual services,keyholding,pool cleaning,meet and greet,furniture packs etc.They have also put some prices next to the services which is heplfull

The management company that has been set up is:

www.fincavalleyspain.com

It is an independent company - not officially part of Cleyton Ges..............  If you look on the Finca Valley website (link above)  under 'contact us' you will find a contact address in Spain (Catral) and a contact address in the UK (Fareham). 

Their web site is good and they have a printed brochure that you can request.  I think they will have an office on site in the commercial centre when it is completed.  Probably most owners will use them, but of course you are free to choose any management company / person that you wish.

Cheers for the info. I have spoken to them today, i have been told that they will be living and working from the site from the first day of handover.  The bloke I spoke to seemed really on the ball and they will be sending me one of their brochures and some extra bits on renting.

Does anyone know when showhome is open for us to visit?

Hello everyone and a happy new year to you all, hopefully this will be the year that we will see our new home materialize !!   Are any of you are in a similar dilemma to myself with regard to the poor exchange rate in the UK,  I am due for completion mid summer and after receiving some excellent info this morning from the managment company on spanish mortgages etc was wondering whether it maybe a good idea to raise the finance in spain until things pickup in the uk again, not sure what way to proceed  but  thanks to everyone that has given me valuable info recently and especially to Amanda at the managment company, its been very much appreciated.  Thanks   Palo

Just wondering why all reference to the management company has been removed, someone obviously not happy with them !!!    personally I have found them to be very helpful and not touted for business only given me very helpful info, still I suppose you cant please everyone,  anyway thanks for the newsletter guys very useful, look forward to receiving the next one.  Palo

What a shame there is always someone out there to put a downer on things, anyway thanks mate for all your efforts in getting information for all of us, I am sure I speak for the majority of us, I hope this does not mean the end of the newsletters as well !   Good Luck anyway and look forward to meeting you for a pint in the village next month.

Hiya Folks, with ref to the low exchange rate I have just received my copy of this months newsletter  and there seems to be a number of mortgage deals available over there, in the light of the current problems with the euro and exchange rates it could be worth thinking about, has anyone else gone along this route, be interested in hearing any opinions.  Chingo

Just arrived back after a very productive visit to the site, also had a meeting with a couple of staff from the management company dealing with building works and mortgages. Im convinced if there is not a sudden upturn in the exchange rate in the next few months the best option for me is going to be a short term spanish mortgage, have looked into various options offered by the finance department and as long as I meet the normal requirements, ie same as the uk there shouldnt be a problem raising the funds to include enough to cover the first years repayments , the property is now worth a lot more than i originally paid.  I mentioned about letting out my villa and It looks as if the rental side of the business is being launched ready to start for early next year although they are targeting owners on later phases and also agents with new clients to rent on the earlier phases when they go over to visit rather than staying on the coast or in hotels, i suppose this is only to be expected  as i cant see any holiday company wanting to send their customers to a building site for a holiday. They will advertise anyones villa  free of charge but will give priorty to their clients with service contracts first, which i suppose is only fair in the long run.  The site is looking great lots of activity  there must be well over a hundred houses now coming up, there could be more but unable to tell as we were restricted to just going to the show house. Hoping to get back over the end of next month all being well, will keep you posted.    Adrian

Hiya Guys and Gals,  had another peek at the site again on monday, lucky enough they were open as they had their hols last week.  All seems to be moving along well with loads of houses up to roof level near the entrance area. Had a trip down to the lake as well, looking fantastic, loads of brown trout just asking to be caught. Managed to catch up with one of the property mangement guys, i had requested info on safes etc and they arrived with a thick brochure containing every conceivable option available, they are able to order through their supplier with delivery within a few days of ordering. They had a great wadge of other catalogues with loads of other things that they are able to get delivered to the site, good if you are like me and dont like trudging around shops. I have suggested that maybe they include all of this when they do the next info sheet.  Chingo

Hello Everyone, just to let you know that we will be available on site as from the 1st August if any of you would like to meet up. On another note we are looking into producing a information guide on places of interest to visit within an hour from FP, already we have found some georgous places we are sure many of you will enjoy especially if you like beautiful countryside, mountain scenery, lakes rivers and waterfalls, and changes in seasons, beautiful country cottages to rent, ect ect  we have found it all, and looking into discovering more over the coming months. If any of you have any input we would love to hear from you.  Looking forward to meeting with some of you in the very near future.
