It's all gone a bit quiet on the Gran Mirador Golf and Country Club site. Has anyone got any updates from recent visits...pictures or stories to tell?

Looks like we are all very pleased with the resort...? I am satisfied that this will be a great phase, especially now the pool is up and running.

Spent a week at the apartment arriving back last Tuesday, everything was fairley quiet but new builders were on sight and they are supposed to be finishing the ground/gardens infront of the current appartments. Pool lights and lights in the car park areas are know working as they had been out for several weeks,  Did not hear anything about the golf course. Really pleased with our apartment and can,t wait to return.

We were out during October half term and things were very quiet. The builders had been sacked so there was no one at all on site and we felt a little vulnerable particularly as all the car park lights and pool lights did not seem to be working. I am relieved to hear that 'new' builders have now been employed to complete the job. Here's hoping!!

Yes that`s true, but the new builders are now starting the finishing of fase 3. The last I`we heard is that the hole complex should be finish by June.

Unofficially the Valencia will approved the Golf project in May/June this year. Yeeehaaa!

Welcome to the site Rolfsvaag.    Whilst your comments 'unofficially' are very encouraging, I still wait confirmation of any 'official' application to build a golfcourse placed by anyone with anyone.  I would be more encouraged if somebody could tell us whether this has occurred at local, provincial or Communidad level and I would be prepared to investigate in depth using professional assistance. For the record my solicitor has already checked with the Town Hall some months ago and nothing was evident in regard to any application to construct a golf course.

An application number, a date of application, the name of an applicant.......anything would help to get a handle on this.

Having said this, I have mentioned this before and it seems we do not have a wide enough interest in this site to expect a person with this knowledge to make a contribution, so we keep grabbing onto rumour and hearsay to keep us enthused......oh well, we live in hope!

I`m YNOJ and I have to tell you that I have nothing to do with any constructing and developing what so ever. But I have inside information about the hole area, but I have to be carefull to what I tell and inform other buyers. I have also purchase an apartment in GM3, so I`m very positive but it take a bit of time. This is going to be one of the hottest area in Alicante in a few years. Just wait and see. Have a nice day.

Thats the message I got from "Rolfsvaag" a couple of weeks ago.

The Communidad is the right authority for the Golf Court. All my searches on the Boletin Oficial where unsuccessfull (last week there was an article about Rio Park in the newspaper Informacion), and last weekend a lonely poor fellow where playing on the one hole ground!!!
